The whole school took part in Empathy day today. We started the day with an online assembly led by several inspiring children's authors who challenged us to think about things from the point of view of people who are different to us. We made 'empathy specs' to help us see things from a different point of view and also took part in an online drawing challenge. Some children made an 'emotions map' and others thought about turning on their 'empathy switch'. It was a challenging and thought provoking day.
