Introduction
CARLS club is run by Carleton Endowed CE School and exists to provide high quality out of school hours childcare for our parents. It provides a range of stimulating and creative activities in a safe and happy environment. Our club offers your children somewhere interesting and fun to spend time before and after school, with opportunities to socialize, play and learn new skills whilst engaging in exciting activities. We promote independence, confidence, relationship building, teamwork and social skills to help our children flourish.
The club’s manager is Mrs. Brown, and she is supported by Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Billing. These are qualified members of staff, and they are also teaching assistants in our school.
The club operates from 7:45am -8:45am and from 3:15pm to 5:30pm term time.
We also have our own mobile number which is 07561607463. This can be rung or messaged to tell us if you are running late and if we are on the school field to tell us you have arrived to pick up your child (good weather only). A copy of the CARLS policy is provided to all parents of children attending the club and is available on the school website.
All parents must complete a registration form for each child attending the club and sign an
agreement to adhere to the terms of this policy.
Payment of Fees
To book CARLS sessions we use the School Gateway booking system. This can be accessed via your home computer or by downloading the School Gateway APP. Please ask for details at the school office or the club Manager; there is an information booklet available if required.
Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. You can only use telephone bookings in an emergency, and we cannot always guarantee a place will be available.
The session times and charges are as follows:
Breakfast Club
Morning: 7:45 am - 8:45 am £5.50
After school Club
3:15 pm - 4:30 pm - £5.75
Following an extra-curricular club 4.15 -5.30 pm £5.75
Whole two hours - 3:15 pm - 5:30 pm £8.75
We offer a subsidized rate for siblings; these are as follows:
Breakfast Club
Morning: 7:45 am - 8:45 am £4.50
After school Club
3:15 pm - 4:30 pm - £4.25
Following an extra-curricular club 4.15 -5.30 pm £4.25
Whole two hours - 3:15 pm - 5:30 pm £6.25
Booking closes at 7:30 am - breakfast club and 3:00 pm - after school club.
Payments can be made through online banking or the School Gateway system.
The parent signing the club’s registration form is known as the contracting parent and is responsible for payment of all fees.
If a parent is having trouble with payment of their fees, they should contact the school office staff as soon as possible. Our staff will treat all matters confidentially and arrange for discussions to be held in private.
We accept payments from various childcare schemes and are currently registered with the following
schemes:

● Childcare Grant Payment Scheme (Student Finance)

to include.
Payment is made at the point of booking and no refunds will be given. This
is due to staffing ratios being allocated for all children booked on to the
sessions.
