Advert Details

We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-motivated and approachable individual to join our midday supervisory team. The post holder will help with the supervision of children over the lunchtime break in the hall and playground, providing a caring and safe environment.

Possession of a first aid certificate and experience of working with children are desirable. Support for you in your role will be provided.

The role will include:-

• Supervising the playground area, playing fields, cloakrooms and classrooms etc. during the lunchtime break. 

• Assisting with the removal of food and equipment once pupils have eaten their lunch.

• Dealing with minor first aid incidents; following appropriate procedures for recording and reporting.

• Assisting in the implementation of appropriate behaviour management strategies as required 

• Observing a child or young person’s behaviour, understand its context, and notice any unexpected changes and report any inappropriate behaviour to the correct member of staff.

• Resolving minor disputes between pupils

• Assisting in the supervision of other activities during the midday break, including setting out and storing equipment
